This book shows us real familiar issues that had happened for years and still happen nowadays. It can be seen how lots of families live like the Morel’s. There are lots of women that know they are living with a quarrelsome man that even do not offer enough money and attention to maintain a family. But sometimes, these women get pregnant with more and more children even when they know they are not able in any way to raise more children. That is just indignant. Therefore, those who pay the price for parents' decisions are children inasmuch as some kids are obligated to work at an early age in order to contribute to their families, like William and Paul did at the age of thirteen and fourteen years old. Chauvinism is one of the reasons families are destroyed. Hence, nobody deserves to feel inferior to others in any way. Nobody deserves to feel unloved and insecure in their own family. So, Family has to be the great agent of love to have a different generation.
