馃挭 Rude and
irritable were the main characteristics of an undesirable man in his own
family. His name was Walter Morel, a miner but drinker who was usually
aggressive with his family. Nonetheless, for some instances, he was ashamed and
tried to be good with his family, but that just lasted a while, and then he
returned to his bad character. To illustrate, once, he arrived home late and
drunk, and he got very angry with his wife at the point that he flanged a
drawer at her, cutting her forehead on the drawer’s corner. But the worst thing
was that Walter said that the quarrel and everything that happened in their
marriage was Gertrude’s fault. He was aggressive with her not only physically
but also mentally. So, he was the only responsible for making his wife lose
interest on him and give all her attention to her favorite sons. Furthermore,
he himself, with his bad behavior, pressed his sons and wife to put him out of
his own family.
